Annika Foundation Nets $53,000 At Auction Event

Travel packages were sold at auction on Saturday, February 20 for the benefit of the Annika Foundation.  The auction, held at the Fish -Out-Of-Water Restaurant at Watersound, raised a total of  $53,000.  The ANNIKA Foundation teaches children the importance of living a healthy, active lifestyle through fitness and nutrition, and offers aspiring junior golfers opportunities to pursue their dreams.

The Annika Academy, named for professional golfer, Annika Sorenstam, is located in Orlando, Florida.  The travel package, Annika Experience, sold for $25,000 and included a tour of the facility, golf instructions, playing nine holes with Annika, followed by lunch with the golfer.
